Who are we?
The Greek Surfing Academy is our effort to combine the playful aspect of surfing, with the athletic element the sport should have. Greece is evolving into a paradise for all levels of surfers and the academy aims in making the best use of these conditions.

Over the last 10 years we have developed a range of services for all types of surfers: advanced and beginners, men, women, children, parents, tourists or just beach lovers.
Our Team
Isidoros is the founder and head coach of the Greek Surfing Academy. Although he was studying Music instruments Construction, his love of teaching surf won over. The result was the founding of Ikaria Surf School, with Vassilis Missas. His solid experience in
Argiro holds a degree in Maritime sience from the University of the Aegean and has a 6- year experience as a surf instructor. Besides her love of the sea, she is a certified lifeguard and scuba diving instructor with a lot of rescue incidents in the past.
Iosif has graduated from Medical School, with a specialization in Psychiatry. Additionally, he completed his training on behavioral psychotherapy and is currently working on his Master's Degree in the science of stress. He is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach and athlete and recently, he became a surf instructor as well.
Nikos is a Sports Academy graduate with a specialization in music & movement education. He has an athletic background, as the captain of the national rugby team of Greece and currently, he works as a trainer and holistic therapist. His experience with the sea starts with lifeguarding and he is still a volunteer lifeguard.
Spiros is the youngest member of the GSA team. He has been a surfer since forever and lately, he started to work as an assistant surf instructor. With his enthusiasm and teaching charisma, the lessons become a great experience!
